Thanks for coming to the new blog! This is one of the surprises I’ve been hinting at over the last few weeks and it’s been hard to keep secret. I was on Blogger for just about three years and loved it, but I guess I just wanted something more simple with a slightly different format to maybe shake things up. I’m crossing my fingers that it will make me feel the way I felt when I just started blogging and was so excited about it that I had more ideas for blog posts than time to write them.
Drew designed the new site and he and his friend built it, so all credit goes to them! I’m slowly learning how to find my way through a WordPress blog dashboard. I might make some mistakes for a while and I honestly still don’t know how comments and RSS feeds will work with the new site, but I’ll do my best to figure it all out.
I’ve been hoarding these photos away on my computer so I could wait to display them on the new blog. Drew took these last Saturday afternoon when his parents were over, and we drove to the sort of fancy, newly-redeveloped White Provisions on Howell Mill Rd. for some new scenery. But it turned out to be all wrong for this outfit, so we wandered around the area and then Drew said he remembered a little hidden garden right beside a restaurant. And it was perfect, even if it was mosquito-infested. Well most of the south seems to be.

Hey girl, I think the new blog layout is fantastic and clean and beautiful in its simplicity and just seems so inviting and professional (but not in a corporate way.) For the longest time it stressed me out that I wasn’t using blogger because it seems like every fashion blog is on blogger but I think I’m really happy with wordpress (and I use both wordpress.com and wordpress.org, the former for Fashion for Writers and the latter for my personal website.) I have a feeling you’ll love using wordpress and I’m so terribly excited about your auctions this week!

I ADORE the new look! So pretty and very “you”! The outfit is so lovely too–I can see why it was hard to keep these until the new layout was done!

Rarely I can find good enough theme for wordpress. There are enough cool themes, but sometimes complicated to set up. I have tried last versions of MASUGID, My Office, Jarrah, Traction, also I have tried also Heatmap – simple, but optimized for adsense. Not very often we can find something simple but rich in options.
