Here’s my last guest post on the Minkette blog . . . I’ll keep this short because we’re in a rush to travel down the coast to get to Hearst Castle (fingers crossed!). We’ve been taking a ton of photos and have visited some great spots in California already, so I promise I’ll be getting better at vacation posting, but right now, I’m sort of in vacation mode . . . .

you’ll love hearst castle! while you’re there, keep an eye out for the zebras grazing along the pacific coast highway!
Oh my gosh, you are going to explode when you see Hearst Castle. I luv that place. It’s spooky and magical and totally haunted.
Perfect!
I love the bow in your hair!

That’s a great dress and a really interesting looking location – I’m looking forward to seeing your Californian photographic haul! Hope you have a great time.

any way, have a good time, and take care~
oh, how funny! i live about 20 minutes away from hearst castle! have fun :)
Awesome! I hope you get to go! I live just 40 minutes down the coast in Santa Maria and Hearst Castle is one of the most spectacular sites on the Central Coast!
What beautiful pictures!
Oh my! I love Hearst Castle! I actually just posted about it on my blog :) I hope you are able to make it down there, it’s really rather incredible!
Beautiful dress! I really hope you made it to Hearst Castle… I’m dying to go!
What a great outfit. Hope you get to go to Hearst Castle. I want to go to Cali so bad!
Darling outfit! The pictures are always so fantastic. This is a bit late, but I just wanted to mention that I love the new blog layout!

I have a question about the 1960′s military dress you have up for sale right now. On the description, it says that it is cream and safari green, but on my computer it totally looks blue. Is it just me and my computer?
dreamy. I always wonder if you wear heels all the time. You always look so elegant, like a dancer, in the photos and I think I should wear heels more often. But then I think on an adventure day out wearing heels would put me in the fussiest crankiest mood.
I bet you want to move to California after your trip! I’m so happy you’re hitting the central coast and not just LA! That place is pure magic- especially the area near Hearst Castle. Hope you get to check out San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cambria, Cayucus… Jim’s Smokehouse albacore fish tacos in Cayucos are to die for (although you’re vegan, right?), and Montana de Oro State park just outside of Los Osos is heaven on earth, I swear!
Oh! Don’t forget the Madonna Inn! Paper magazine did a fashion shoot there last winter and it was amazing. You’re probably on your way home by now, but I hope you had a great time! :)

Beautiful photos and outfit! I always love your shoes! They look like they are made for models to stand in, never walk, but you’re always walking and jumping around in them! Do you wear them just for the photo shoot or all the time?

Looking amazing as always!! Lovely! xx
ah, i have funny fond memories of a visit to hearst castle w my sister and cousins…somehow we got so tickled that every portion of the tour ended with the swimming pool…i don’t know why that seems funny NOW, but it did at the time…i hope it’s a coolish day for your visit…
Oh my gosh, you will LOVE the Hearst Castle! No joke, it’s one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited. I was there five years ago and took so so many pictures, I used to just go through them every now and then to reminisce about how incredible it was. Sadly, all my pictures got deleted, so I learned about backing up my files the hard way! Enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed the castle! Your dress is lovely too! xxx
I love California! Hope you keep having fun there! Also–your photos are just always so lovely and beautiful, but still showcase the clothes wonderfully, which is totally awesome.
