A few quick, behind-the-scenes shots of our photoshoot yesterday. It was a lot of fun. In the morning Jamie, Stephanie, and I went to the studio to make sure the outfits worked, and then drove out to the funny town of Conyers. Well, it’s not funny. It has a pretty great thrift store and good old roadside buildings, like the 1960s motel we shot at that was pretty amazing.
Stephanie was adorable and fun and wore summery outfits (and crazy shoes) on a February day like a trooper, and Jamie shot on film, and so I think the pictures will be extra good. We’ll show you when it’s finished!
The photo shoot looks great! I can’t wait to see the final product! I’m already dreaming of summer and the sniffles that I currently have isn’t helping it one bit.

Me too! These were just for the shoot, but I tried them on and would have been tempted to keep them if they were my size. They have detachable shoe clips!

Neat shoot. My only knowledge of Conyers is that I believe a long time ago there was a lady that said she saw the Virgin Mary and she had people thronging there by the 1000s. No idea if she’s still in the town, but there are pictures floating around that are kind of neat.
What! That’s amazing. I wonder if there’s a shrine somewhere in Conyers . . . if so I know where I’m going next time I’m in Conyers!

I’ve only been to the Value Village there, and it’s really good! There are definitely towns around Conyers that are really pretty too.

She’s so cute! Also I knew the shoes would be tall, but not that tall . . . I tried them on and felt I’d twist my ankle by taking two steps.

I love the idea of doing a fashion photo shoot in an old roadside motel! Is it still active or is it abandoned? Can’t wait to see out the images turned out.
Leilani, you would have liked this place! It’s still going . . . we checked into a room and took a few pictures there though the bathrooms were the only part that looked really old. Jamie really wanted to find one of those funny ’60s roadside stops, like the old tee pee hotels, but we don’t have them around Atlanta.
