This week while I’m away I’m featuring a few of my favorite bloggers and their wish lists for fall. First up is Hannah of Foxtail and Fern. I’ve featured her on the blog before, mainly because her simple-beautiful outfits are always inspirational, and the photos are just as good. So I’m not really surprised that I love every single thing on her list . . .
Your favorite thing about fall?
One of my favourite things to do in the fall is watch the fireworks displays on November 5th. At home they go all out and hold the event near the ruins of an old castle. There’s always a huge bonfire and stalls selling toffee apples and candy floss. I haven’t been in over four years now because of university commitments but I’m flying home especially for it this year and I really can’t wait!
What’s on your dream fall wishlist?
1. I am so excited that Monki is finally selling online. They have so many wonderful pieces to choose from but the cinnamon colour of this dress really makes it stand out to me and makes it perfect for autumn. I think it would look great paired with neutral basics in grey, camel or navy blue.
2. Last year I was all about the cardigan but now I much prefer a good jumper. I’m really fussy about knitwear and will avoid acrylic at all costs, so most of my jumpers come from charity shops. I was very lucky to find a Celine one a few months ago, which is now my favourite despite the fact that there are two holes in the back!
3. When the autumn weather hits my thoughts immediately turn to ideas of camping trips and log cabins. Unfortunately I’m too busy at university for any such escapades at the moment but this necklace would be a nice little reminder of the great outdoors.
4. The first fabric that comes to mind for me when I think of Autumn is velvet. It’s just so warm and soft, and it’s such a wonderful texture to try and incorporate into an outfit. TBA dresses are always dream-worthy and this one is no exception.
5. Fashion magazines seem to be obsessed with bold coloured coats this season, but I’m lagging behind with last years camel. This one by Boy. By Band of Outsiders is perfect.

Oh, I love all those picks! I am also ecstatic about the Monki online shop. Monki has been a favorite store of mine for some time now. I scored a Ralph Lauren Cable Knit Sweater, that looks just like the one you picked, at a thrift store last year. I will be moving soon, so half of my fall clothes are packed away in boxes, but I can hardly wait until I can finally pull it out and wear it again!
I wholeheartedly agree with ALL of these, especially the tba dress. I’m so so excited about Monki online, i know that soon as I have a bad work week I’ll run straight to it for comfort. Lovely guest post, i love it when my favourite blogs combine xXx

I love every single piece in this list and the tales of bonfires and toffee apples had me day dreaming for a few minutes!
I’ve been living in that Monki dress since it showed up in the mail. So pretty and comfortable, the color is heartwarming and goes with all my favorite autumnal shades – love it with grey!
