If last weekend was hectic and busy, this one was calm and lazy. I slept way too much, read, hung out with friends three nights in a row (a record for anti-social me), cooked some, baked some. We had a pizza party Friday night and celebrated Rodney’s birthday tonight and also planned a little trip that Jamie, Rodney, and I are taking this weekend. I’ll have better things to write about then. But this weekend was really good. It was nice to do nothing, or hardly anything.
Today we did get to check out the rooftop gardens at a Georgia Tech building called Clough Commons. I’d read about it on a local blog I like and wanted to see it, especially since it’s pretty close to where we live. I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to get in, but it was easy, and we were the only ones on the roof. Which might have had something to do with the 90-something degree, full sun weather, but it was still good. It’s a great place to sit and look out on the city.
Now this dress I’m wearing in these photos I’ve had for a few weeks. I got it from Jaclyn of Audrey Grace a few days before going to Portland and really wanted to take photos of it there, but it was too cold/rainy to do it justice. So here’s my back-in-Atlanta attempt, better timing probably since today’s the grand opening of Audrey Grace’s online shop. If you’re like me you’ve probably been following the evolution of Audrey Grace on Jaclyn’s blog. She’s worked on some beautiful shoots that have been featured on Rookie (including one with a Lauren Winter Blooming Leopold original dress) and some that have been featured in her own online magazine, and it’s been especially fun watching a southern, Mississippi-based boutique hitting it big. Her shop is full of beautiful pieces from around the world—definitely worth checking out!

sounds like a wonderful weekend:) and i love your dress! x
It’s so nice to have a lazy weekend every now and again. I love the dress, it looks great on you.
The dress looks great! Beautiful photo’s of Atlanta’s skyline!
I like your bag too!
What a beautiful dress!
Why always the sunglasses or the downturned head? What would happen if you faced the camera head on?
The camera would break. Just kidding, kind of. Honestly, I’m just not that crazy about my face, or at least the way it photographs. I don’t see what my face has to do with fashion blogging anyway.
there are plenty of posts with rhiannon facing the camera sans glasses – if you’re going to be a troll at least have the decency to research.
Lauren, I love you! Well, I don’t think she’s being a troll—she’s right, I don’t like to show my face. But I don’t see what the big deal is.
I love this color on you! and I want to steal your bag.
