Secret South

Australian label Secret Squirrel is now known as Secret South, which is described in its press release as kind of like Secret Squirrel’s older sister.  More grownup, streamlined, classic.  It’s great news to me since I love the direction the label has been taking over the last few seasons.  I love all the simple shapes and the use of silk fabrics, and especially the prints, which I’m glad to see have been carried over into Secret South’s first ever collection . . .

I’d been trying to find these guys recently as I was shopping around for a dress to wear to a wedding, but they were living up to their (previous) name! I ended up getting a Miss Crabb dress which is so simply beautiful, and silk. Happiness.

I love the print on the first dress, and I like the sleeveless look, it makes it look less boxy than their normal dress cut. Hopefully there is one left in my size come sale time! :)

I love these dresses, they are my style! I found a similar dress that I really like at Who Brain, maybe you will like it too. http://www.bit.ly/OHB629

I love the pumpkin coloured spaghetti strapped dress, or maybe it’s a cami tucked into a matching skirt. Either way, very elegant. In Australia (where I am) we are shedding off Winter, and can feel Spring and the warm weather is very close- seeing lovely slinky dresses is so happy-making.

And, I bought a Miss Crabb dress too- the gorgeous one that was featured on here a few days ago in a yellow silk… Hopefully I will get lots of opportunities to wear it in the months ahead.

Love your blog as always Rhiannon, you do such a good job on it. xx
    Love from Melbourne.
