Marais USA F/W ’12

Because I’m still not exactly ready for cooler weather and warmer clothes, Marais‘ beach-inspired Fall lookbook is just my style. It makes me think of a beach trip we’re going to be taking in October, when the weather cools down just enough for long sleeves and shoes that aren’t sandals, but not cool enough for any of that thick tights and sweater nonsense.

This might be my favorite Marais collection, too.  I always love their shoes, but these ones look especially wearable, especially that last pair.  It looks like that elusive ’90s pair I try to track down on Etsy but can never find, thanks to heels that are either too clunky or too spindly.  These ones are perfect.
