No. 6

Ever since I went to the No. 6 store last spring I’ve been stalking their blog for updates. It’s just that it’s a good place to go when I’m getting bored of fashion and need a recharge, or when I want to get some inspiration before a trip to the thrift store. I still can’t get the store’s vintage rack out of my head—all the simple silk dresses and the weird ’80s avant garde stuff that I would have skipped right over in the thrift store but that magically looked good in the shop.

I liked their vintage, but I’m an even bigger fan of their own label’s shoes and clothes. Which I guess isn’t all that much of a surprise, considering how No. 6 clogs find their way into almost every single outfit collage I make. ┬áThe clothes are beautiful too. Each season the label turns out dresses that have me typing in “vintage silk dress” on Etsy for weeks, but I never can find anything even close to the real thing. One of these days I’ll just have to cave.
